Hey there, As of you might know (or not) I was working on the story The War of the Masks which is still in the uh.... development stage... I think... and its going to be a type of graphic novel (not comic no! waay to much work) but basically I might upload chapters and draw images for it. So watch out for it you guys! XD.
nice! that's pretty sweet, how far you with yours? Its hard for me to have a proper beginning, I'm just wondering where and how I can introduce the major themes, characters and ideas. Got any advice for me? XD

It's in the... advanced planning stages. xD;;; Yeah, the most difficult part for me is figuring out how to order and connect events I've thought out. Just getting from point A to point B, you know? So My advice would be don't be afraid to alter scenes you've already planned out, even if it means changing the scene completely for the sake of a smooth chain of events. How smoothly the story flows, how deeply the characters develope, and how well you can forshadow so that further events make sense without giving much away are the key elements to a good story. So if you have to drop a scene you think is really interesting for the sake of those elements, you have to be brave enough to do so - otherwise you'll get yourself stuck. Be a fearless author!
But... that probably doesn't make much sense, so.. xD;; I'll just go back to story-boarding. Oh, note me when the first part of your story comes out, okay? I'm REALLY interested. <3

woah, oh yeah I definately agree with that. Alot of authors and writers said the same thing! Its exactly like Art isn't it? There will always be alterations to your work, my old art teacher once said that, "Its never perfect, simply hate your work (well not to the extent of wripping it to shreds, unless you have to tho.. heheh)" but Yes! it makes perfect sense, I sometimes find it took lets say four years to actaully start the first chapter. hahaha oh gosh.
Btw have you uploaded any of your work on dev? I might want to get some tips on how the experts do it XD. lolz and sure I might be able to note you once I get like the intro and all the rest perfected hahaha. omgish its gonna be lonely work for me. lolz

Woah, I'm far from professional. xD;; I'm having just as much trouble getting my intro written. Well, Keep me updated on your work ad I'll keep you updated on mine. <3 Maybe we could do a short collab sometime? I need some kind of script to practice storyboarding with. You think you could give me something short from your work that I could illustrate, since I love your character concepts so much?

Collab sounds awesome! lolz and definately need to know how to start storyboard just so you know when it comes to making my own comics, for me the thing with storyboard is that I kinda suck at it, all my storyboarding goes on in my head and I'm way to lazy to write it down. lolz.
hmm. something from my work sure thing, once intros done I could note you with that chapter. XD.
sry it took so long to reply, work and all gah!.
